Quality of light matters

Color Rendering Index (CRI) tells you how well different colors are reflected by the light source in comparison to sunlight. Index measured in range 0–100. Perfect 100 tells that the colors under the light source look the same as they would be under natural sunlight.
High CRI value is important especially in photography, stores, markets, restaurants and other places where colors are required to look as natural and rich as possible. Is there any other more important place than home where a lot of time is spent? It is comfortable to spend time in a high-quality-lit spaces.

Measuring CRI value requires a special type of light tester. We have such a device. CRI of this LED strip is over 90 which means that the quality of light is excellent.

Ledtek RGB CCT COB LED Strip

With RGB CCT COB LED strip you can create both multicolor and white lighting. CCT means, that you can adjust white light between cold and warm 2700K – 6500K. In comparison to normal LED strips there is 2 meters of double insulated cable on one end of the reel. It makes iinstallation considerably easier since you do not have to deal with making an extension coupling to 20 cm cable like they have in basic LED strips. The coupling would make quite a lump since there are 6 wires in RGB CCT LED strip. With this LED strip you can hide the connection parts as it should be. RGB CCT COB LED strip can be dimmed the same way as as our other RGB LED strips as long as you have a correct type of controller. RGB CCT controller is a suitable one for RGB CCT strip. Width of this RGB CCT COB LED strip is 12 mm, cut interval 4,2 cm and operating voltage 24 volts. Protection class is IP20, so it is intended for indoor use. You can install it in damp places when you protect the LED strip with an LED aluminum profile + cover + endpieces. Then the possible strain from dampness will remain outside the profile and cover. At cut points there are long copper connection points for soldering and connectors. This RGB COB LED strips has long copper connection points which are better than the shorter ones like some LED strips tend to have. Traditionally, the best coupling is done with soldering. If you use connectors, choose RGB CCT COB LED connectors for this strip 12 mm wide LED strip will not fit inside all LED profiles. For example 1616 corner profile supports max. 10 mm LED strips. Inner groove of 1707 profile is 12,2 mm. Please check technical details of the LED profile to make sure it is suitable for your LED strip.

Dimmable LED strip

LED RGB CCT COB LED strips are dimmable. In order to enable all properties of this LED strip you will need a correct type of RGB CCT controller. This LED strip is 12 mm wide and it has 6 wires. Suitable controller can be found in our RGB LED Strips category and premium LED Dimmers category.

What do you need for installation?

In addition to LED strip you will need an LED power supply and an RGB CCT controller. To make installation easier there is two meters of cable on one end of the strip In typical LED strips there is only a 20 cm cable on one end of the reel. We have more RGB CCT cable available if you need it. If you use connectors for strips, choose 12mm 6-wire RGB CCT COB connectors.
Usually it is recommended to use aluminum profiles for LED strip installations. This LED strip is IP20, for indoors. You can install it in damp places when you protect the LED strip with an LED aluminum profile + cover + endpieces. Great profile for this strip is for example 1707 aluminum, 1707 white, 1708 black, 2310. Typically the inner groove of LED profiles is 10 mm or 12.2 mm.
