LED strip has revolutionized the way in which we light up hour homes and public spaces. Ledtek starterd with strip lights in 2009, over 15 years a go! As years have passed the quality of LED light has improved and prices have gone down. We still import LED strips handpicked by ourselves. Our quality standards are high. We pay attention to features such as quality of light and that the light is healthy for human eye.

LED strip has plenty of applications such as kitchen under cabinets, plinth, ceiling, buses, taxis, outdoor hand rails, sauna, indirect lighting etc. Only imagination sets the limit. Regarding lighting efficiency and energy consumption, LED strip is an excellent choice for spaces where there is no utility power. LED strip is a suitable choice for homes, summer cottages, boats and caravans.

There are plenty of different color tones. There does exist several tones of white light. Warm tones are typically about 3000 Kelvin, natural white tones that produce white light are about 4000-45000 Kelvin.
Many people have said the “cleaner” tones at about 5500-6000K are rather blue. It is often sold in several stores as a daylight product – daylight LED. We do not keep 5-6K LED strips as stock products since the demand is quite limited. If cool white tones are more your thing, we can absolutely deliver you 5-6K LED strips that also have CRI over 90+.

RGB multi color LED strips have several colors to choose from. In addition to white light the color can be changed to red, blue or green, or a blend of colors.

Indeed the purpose of RGB LED strip is to offer plenty of colors. If you’re looking for white light only, consider choosing single color (white) strip instead. To change the colors in RGB LED strip an RGB controller is required. Typically RGB controllers have a few pre-programmed modes. You can put the program on and the color will change to blue, red, green etc. Programs can vary from smooth, relaxing northern lights to faster jumpy programs. There are plenty of color mixes available. When you get the feeling that varying programs are enough, you can push for example red button and so you will have just the red light on.

Depending on LED strip length the length tolerace is -1-4 cm. It means that due to the nature of LED strip manufacturing a full 5-meter might not have exactly 5 meters of LED strip. This concerns all LED strips in the market.

Recommended applications
Uncoated LED strips for indoors, dry locations. These strips are suitable for kitchen when placed in an aluminum profile with a cover. The covers of Ledtek LED profiles are so snug that LED strip is safe from water splashes and vapors.in the kitchen.

Silicone coated splash waterproof LED strips for indoors. Suitable also for terrace ceiling.

Silicone tube LED strips can be installed in both indoors and outdoors, and in sauna as well.
