Triac dimmable LED transformer 150W 24V

POS triac dimmable LED transformer. The power is 150 Watts and is sufficient for example to power a 24V LED strip in the kitchen and even larger installations. If you want a remote-controlled LED dimmer, do not choose this transformer. In that case, choose a normal LED transformer where dimming occurs after the transformer. That is, a transformer that does not have triac, Dali or push dim features.

LED transformer installation

This 150W 24V triac LED transformer is suitable for 24 V DC LED strips, for example. The power is enough for two 5-meter rolls of COB 12W LED strips, for example . Regarding safety, there is short-circuit protection, overload protection, overvoltage protection and overheating protection. Of these, short-circuit and overload protection work on the power cut principle. This means that in a problematic situation, the LED transformer starts to cut off the power and it makes the lights flicker. The power cut continues until the fault is removed. The overvoltage protection and overheating protection cut off the power from the 24 volt side –> the lights go out. The lights can be turned on by turning the power back on when the faulty condition has been resolved. The protections also work in a similar way in other high-quality LED transformers. The transformer cools itself with help of circulating air, so install it in a place where the air can flow. The transformer does not heat up significantly.
