RGBW multicolor + 4000K LED strip. The light quality is good CRI 80+. This LED strip is ideal for indirect lighting and accent lighting. The light output is a comfortable 506 lm/meter. This is an RGB multicolor + 4000K natural white LED strip that bends sideways. Normal LED strips do not bend left and right like this LED strip. This RGBW LED strip has 42 SMD RGBW LEDs/meter.

The quality of light matters

The Color Rendering Index (CRI) is a measure of how well colors appear when using a light source compared to sunlight. The index is measured between 0 and 100. A perfect 100 indicates that colors under the light source appear the same as they would in natural sunlight.
A high CRI value is especially important in photography, retail stores, grocery stores, restaurants, and other spaces where colors need to appear natural and rich. What could be more important than your own home that is properly lit, where you spend a lot of time. A well-lit space is a pleasant place to be.

Testing the CRI value requires a special light tester. We have such a device. The color rendering index (CRI) of this LED strip is over 80, which means that the light quality is good.

Ledtek RGBW LED strip

With RGBW LED strip you can create RGB multi-color lighting and natural white lighting. The W in RGBW strip means white and means that in addition to colors, you get high-quality white light from the same strip. The white light of this strip is 4000K natural white. Compared to normal LED strips, we have a 1-meter installation cable at one end of the 5-meter roll . This makes installation much easier, as you don’t have to start making a connection with the 20 cm connection cable of standard strips (the connection would make a big lump, because the RGBW strip has 5 wires). With this LED strip you can make the connection hidden as it should be done. You can dim the RGBW LED strip in the same way as our other LED strips as long as you have the right controller for this. The controller for the RGBW strip is an RGBW controller. The width of this RGBW LED strip is 12 mm, the cut-off distance is 5 cm and the operating voltage is 12 volts . The protection class is IP20, which means this is intended for dry rooms . You can install this in damp rooms when you protect the LED strip with a covered LED aluminum profile + end caps. Then the moisture load remains outside the aluminum profile and cover. There are long copper adhesions for soldering and connectors at the cut points. The long copper of this RGB LED strip is better than the short adhesion surfaces of some normal LED strips. Traditionally, the best connection comes from soldering. If you use connectors, choose RGBW SMD LED connectors for this strip. A 12 mm wide LED strip does not fit inside all LED profiles. For example, a 1616 corner strip can fit a maximum of 10 mm strips. The inner groove of a 1708 profile is 12.2 mm. Check the technical data of the LED profile when you choose a profile. Of course, since this is a side-bending strip, this is not originally intended to be installed inside the profile.

Dimmable LED strip

Ledtek RGBW LED strips are dimmable. To get all the features of this LED strip, you need the right RGBW controller . This LED strip is 12 mm wide and has 5 wires. You can find a suitable controller in our multi-color LED strips product group and premium LED dimmers product group .

What do you need for installation?

In addition to the LED strip, you need an LED transformer and an RGBW controller. To make installation easier, this LED strip has 1 meter of wire at one end of the roll. Standard LED strips only have 20 cm of wire at one end of the roll. We have RGBW wire as an accessory that you can use for this strip. If you use connectors for the strip pieces, choose 12 mm 5-wire RGBW SMD connectors.
LED aluminum profiles are usually also needed for LED strip installations. This LED strip is an IP20 dry room LED strip. You can install this in damp rooms when you protect the LED strip with a covered LED aluminum profile + end caps. A good profile for this strip is, for example, 1708 aluminum , 1708 white , 1708 black , 2310 rectangular . Typically, the inner groove of the LED profile is 10 mm or 12.2 mm.
