Affordable LED strip with CRI90 light quality. This LED strip is suitable for applications that require a little more light. The light color is 3000K warm white and the light quality is CRI90+ (excellent). This LED strip is suitable for a project where affordable price is the most important criterion. There are 120 LEDs/meter and this provides good LED strip lighting. 120 pcs/meter means six LEDs/5 cm and it provides good uniform light. This LED strip is well suited for lighting the kitchen’s intermediate space , as this provides almost spot-free lighting and reasonably good light output at a reasonable price. This is well suited for above kitchen cabinets and also for other applications when you want more light output than ambiance. This is already too effective for the kitchen plinth. The cutting interval of this strip is 2.5 cm.

LED strip installation

In addition to the LED strip, you will need an LED transformer and possibly a dimmer. This LED strip has 5 meters of LEDs and a 1 m cable at one end of the roll. You can cut a suitable length of strip from the five-meter roll for installation. Additional cable for connection can be found here . The dense LED layout means that connectors cannot be used with this LED strip. The LEDs are so close to the cut-off point that the connector covers cannot be pressed shut. The only option for additional connections is to make solder joints. Soldering the LED strip is easy to do if you have soldering experience.

Usually, LED aluminum profiles are also chosen for LED strip installations and we recommend installing this LED strip with an LED profile or on top of some other metal base.  If you are lighting the kitchen’s under cabinet space, popular profiles include 1708 aluminum , 1708 white , 1708 black , 2310 aluminum and 2310 white .
