LED strip has revolutionized the way in which we light up our saunas. Ledtek brought the first LED strips to Finland in 2009 – so over 10 years ago. During the years the LED lights’ quality has increased and prices have decreased. We still import LED strips handpicked by ourselves. Our quality standards are high. We pay attention to, for example, quality of light and to the fact that the light is healthy for human eye.

For indirect sauna lighting we recommend 4,8W LED strip in silicone tube. A more popular light in sauna is warm white 3000K. Also some amounts of 4000K white light is installed in saunas where they have for example black sauna benches.

To get the LED strip to light up you are going to need an LED-driver. For sauna LED installations this is a minimum requirement on the equipment. In addition to LED strip and LED-driver it is recommendable to use LED profile or some other kind of profile for LED strip. For example a plastic L-profile is good. Additionally an LED dimmer brings comfort of use. Some connectors and junction boxes may be needed as well. Sauna LED lighting is typically done: LED strip behind backrest or LED strip under the sauna benches.
