LED strip has revolutionized the way in which we create kitchen lighting. Ledtek brought to Finland the first LED strips in 2009 – over 10 years ago. During the years the LED lights’ quality has increased and prices have decreased. We still import LED strips handpicked by ourselves. Our quality standards are high. We pay attention to, for example, quality of light and to the fact that the light is healthy for human eye.

For living room indirect lighting we recommend at least 14.4W LED strip if you want the light to act as a general light. For mood lighting a 4.8W LED strip is enough.

To get the LED strip to light up you will need an LED driver. Regarding living room LED installations this is the minimum requirement for equipment. In addition to LED strip and LED driver it is recommendable to install LED aluminum profiles and possibly a light controller / LED dimmer. A few connectors and junction boxes also. Different lighting installation spots: LED strip in curtain cases, LED strip behind curtain rods , LED strip in TV stand, LED strip behind TV, LED strip in wall-installed profiles etc. It is very common to use some kind of indirect lighting in living room. LED strip offers a great opportunity for such. Dimming is popular since you may want to have less light when it is time to relax. During the day and afternoon there may usually be more light. Is there anything more comfortable than to lie on the couch and dim the lights to a desired level?
