If there is a gap in the wall, the corner profile will hold better with metal brackets, as they have a higher edge that bites into the profile. With plastic brackets, the profile can come off at one end over a long distance.

Number of brackets in installation

You can install LED aluminum profiles using brackets or by drilling a hole in the aluminum & screwing. If you drill a hole, countersink the hole and use a countersunk screw. Use a countersunk screw with the brackets as well. The brackets have a pre-countersunk hole. Below are examples of bracket quantities for profile lengths.
