In addition to LED strip you will need an LED driver and an RGB controller for color adjustment. In order to make installations more convenient there are 2 meters of cable on both ends of the strip. You can cut suitable length strips and you will have pre-assembled wires for two strips. You don’t necessarily need connectors or soldering. In case you need some, pick 10mm RGB connectors.

Usually it is recommended to use aluminum profiles for LED strip installations. We recommend installing this LED strip inside an aluminum profile. Aluminum profile is not absolutely necessary as this RGB LED strip will not warm up remarkably. Smoother finish can be achieved with aluminum profiles.

This is a 5-meter reel. The strip can be extended to for example 7 meter long installations. Due to the voltage drop the far end of the strip is usually a little dimmer. You will notice the difference if you bring the end part next to the LEDs at the beginning. In typical installations the difference might be difficult to notice however. By supplying power from both ends you will get full brightness for the whole length. In 5 meter strip it is enough if you supply power from just one end.
